About iGov Global Forum

Pivoting on the success of the iGov Global Exchange in 2009, the Ministry of Finance and the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, in partnership with the Singapore Exhibition Services, are proud to organise the iGov Global Forum, an extension to the Global Exchange that features new interactive and engaging components.

Themed “e-Government: The Next Quantum Leap”, the iGov Global Forum will bring together e-Government experts and practitioners from around the world to discuss their experiences and challenges in their e-Government strategies. This event will facilitate mutual learning and sharing, providing participants with valuable insights on how governments can tackle e-Government issues and opportunities to better serve the needs of their customers, and open opportunities to explore collaborations with an international audience.

The iGov Global Forum is held concurrently with the annual Infocomm Media Business Exchange (imbX), Asia’s largest infocomm and media event that draws 60,000 international participants from governments, the industry and media from about 100 countries and regions across Europe, US, Asia and the Middle East.

The iGov Global Forum comprises a full-day forum on 14 June and site visits on 15 June to view government infocomm projects in Singapore.  The forum will start in the morning with speakers sharing their insights on emerging trends and developments in e-Government. The event will conclude with workshops in the afternoon, where participants can engage in active discussion with each other and the speakers on varied e-Government related topics.

Participants of the iGov Global Forum are also invited to the imbX 2010 Opening Ceremony on 15 June and visit the four-day imbX exhibition from 15-18 June, held at the Singapore Expo, where they can experience first-hand the latest e-Government concepts and solutions offered by the infocomm industry worldwide.
